“Vintage Folk” Pendant, Beaded and Stitched by Hand

This eclectic pendant is a fusion of vintage and folkloric styles.
The top, green focal is a lace covered button accented with a vintage rhinestone brooch and is surrounded by Japanese seed beads.
The tan and red seed beads above the green focal are stitched in a design reminiscent of Native American beaded rosettes.
The pure copper discs to each side of the green focal are etched with a floral design and are secured with bronze rivets.
The lower, purple focal is a sparkling, faceted Czech glass cabochon surrounded by a peyote-stitch beaded bezel.
The bottom dangle adds a surprising accent of a genuine red coral, heart-shaped bead combined with a genuine turquoise, bear-shaped bead.
The beads of the necklace cord are genuine gemstones (jasper, turquoise, onyx, amethyst) and Japanese glass seed beads.
The clasp is silver-plated metal.
The pendant was hand-beaded and hand-stitched by me. The backing is faux suede. All fabric components were treated so that they are water and stain resistant.
The pendant is 4.75 inches (12cm) long (including the dangle) and 3 inches (7.5cm) wide at its widest point.
Each side of the necklace cord is 9 inches (23cm) long, with a 3 inch (7.5cm) silver-plated extension chain on one end.
